The USDA put out a new-updated Plant Hardiness Zone Map.
Much to my surprise we are now Zone 6b.
After being a Zone 5 all my life this is going to take some brain changes. One side of me (the gardener) loves this, It freaks out the other side ( global warming).

I garden because...

The manipulation of space and material never fails to inspire me. I know in my bones that we are each meant to garden in one way or another. With a shovel or without.
